Together with Jacquemus, AIMKO created in December 2021 a 24/24 Pop up store in Paris, rue de Richelieu, to launch the new it-bag « Bambino long » and sell a selection of products from the newly Pink 2 capsule collection.
For 3 days and 3 nights, bags, hats & sweatshirts, were available 24/24 in self service through the reinterpretation of existing food lockers revamped and digitally reprogrammed for the pop up store.
The interior architecture was deliberately minimal and straightforward focusing on the products and the self service experience. The use of the collection’s pink as color block created a strong signal in the street and reinforced the immersion inside. The opacity of the window acted as a teaser and enabled the creation of a permanent consistent light atmosphere thanks to an irradiant light ceiling.
Given the commercial and PR success of this original format, the same concept was adapted in Milan at the Palazzo Clerici in February, and was recently included in the Jacquemus takeover of Selfridges in London in May 2022.
