We have designed a completely new hall concept for the ISPO 2017 in Munich: the „ISPO-Polygon“ (Hall B6, Action Sports). This concept is based on the thorough dissolution of the typical exhibition and hall structures. The individual exhibition spaces in a hall are newly defined by folded façades arranged in honeycomb-style. The façade system consists of screen printing plates which are used for half pipes and elsewhere. They give the hall, in combination with the unprocessed hall flooring, an industrial quality and an urban character. This open, inviting and dynamic design takes up the spirit of the industry and, at the same time, represents the strength as well as the togetherness of a whole community. ISPO POLYGON is a sustainable full-service strategy comprising further areas of the hall, apart from the actual exhibition space. The center aisle we designed served both as a meeting area and as a place of retreat for visitors and exhibitors alike. It was divided into four sections: Community Lounge Bar (restaurant), „Bob Ross“ highlight presentation (special area), Influencer Club Lounge (blogger lounge + bar) as well as Monochrome City (tattoo art). A coherent overall hall concept enabling expert visitors and exhibitors to meet at an equal footing and, above all, giving the product its dominating role back. BACK TO THE ROOTS
