Mizuno is a Japanese sports brand founded in 1906.

We specialize in the planning, research and development, and production including shoes, apparel and equipment. Our goal is to create and offer better sports products and services, and contribute to the happiness of people around the world.

Mizuno's manufacturing has a vision called the MIZUNO MIRAI VISION, which consists of five fields: Competitive sports, Health, Environment, Education, Work.

We aim to realize an ideal future where the power of sports can be used to solve social issues and where everyone can enjoy physical activity. We call this value proposition "E-MON", and it is always our company slogan.

Recently, social issues and market needs have become more diverse, and it is necessary to understand social issues rapidly and accurately. Therefore, in order to create "E-MON," it has become essential to accelerate the R&D cycle and activate co-creation within and outside the company to create new chemical reactions. To realize this ideal, Mizuno has established an innovation center.

The innovation center combines specialized equipment and sports surfaces to measure data from human and equipment, create and test prototypes under realistic conditions. The design incorporates elements that encourage chance encounters and communication between employees, which leads to the development of new ideas and innovations.

Both environments to accelerate "MEASURE," "PROTOTYPE," "TRY," and to communicate with variety members, we are ready to create "E-MON" speedy.

By working with many partners to solve social issues through sports and communicating attractively, we will connect to next innovation and lead to further social contributions. With regard to sustainability initiatives, we believe that there are numerous ways in which we can contribute to society as we seek to realize the MIZUNO MIRAI VISION.

For example, in the field of health, we are conducting research and development that maximize this environment with the aim of creating a daily life where people of all ages, including seniors, can live healthy lives both physically and mentally.

In the field of the environment, we are finding sustainable patterns of consumption and production by beginning to build a system to manufacture, collect, materialize, reproduce, evaluate, and reuse mono-material shoes within MIZUNO ENGINE.

In the field of education, we are trying to create programs to help people learn how to move their bodies and how to communicate through sports, and to provide fair and high quality education from MIZUNO ENGINE.

These are activities directly related to the SDGs, and we believe that we are truly creating sustainable value through MIZUNO ENGINE.

The activities at this location will be the starting point for the gathering of talented people from all over the world who can co-create and produce results, which will lead to new "dreams".

We will contribute to sustainability from the perspective of human resources.
