Infinitum is a coastal residence overlooking the North Sea, where panoramic views meet tailored design. All furniture, artwork, and decorative objects are crafted to complement the interior, enriching the project's distinctive character and enhancing general well-being.

Functionality and innovation is rooted in creative challenges:
In the kitchen, a glossy, deeply sanded oak wall conceals appliances, the bar cabinet and even the pantry entrance, maintaining a seamless and minimalist aesthetic. The stainless steel breakfast bar area is paired with bespoke oak barstools featuring hidden spring-loaded castors, which remain stationary once seated. They are easy to pull out and lock securely when seated.

At the center of the lounge area, a bespoke island sofa offers versatile seating options—whether by the fireplace, with frontal sea views, or for entertainment—simply by repositioning the backrest. Additional bespoke circular swivel chairs allow effortless adjustments for sea gazing or fireplace conversations, while a decorative sliding panels discreetly conceal the entertainment screen and the small window.

Functionality is further redefined through the intelligent and innovative use of space. Compact bedroom volumes are optimized with freestanding, pivoting column-shaped cabinets, ensuring both spaciousness and easy storage access. Shower enclosures and washbasins are integrated into walls or cabinetry, blending practicality with minimalism.

The project prioritizes longevity, utilizing durable and sustainable materials such as stainless steel, natural stone, lime terrazzo, and wood. Notable features include silver wire-brushed oak, showcasing dynamic woodgrain directions, and terrazzo cladding in one of the shower rooms, which seamlessly transitions between the wall and the washbasin or shower entry. Recycled elements play a key role, including mosaic tiles made from repurposed computer screens, a reclaimed fireplace base, and decorative objects crafted from surplus project materials.

Additionally, tall panoramic windows invite abundant natural light, enhancing an exceptional dining experience. A large, custom-made dining table is serenely positioned in the glass extension, offering 180° beach views. The tabletop, crafted from bespoke lime terrazzo and echoing the coastal grounds, is supported by a two colored wire-brushed oak structure and complemented by matching curved tripod dining chairs. With Infinitum I aim to design a space that not only inspires its inhabitants but also respects the world it inhabits.
