Journey to Ourself In-Depth, a cafe at the heart of bustling Central where quality coffee, shisha and bar services are offered, is also a haven where allows people to slow down the pace. The moment visitors stopped in front of the entrance is when deep conversation with souls started to take place. Shades of Grey With the absence of sharp and bright colour, visitors can focus more on themselves instead of being distracted by the metro world. Different shades of grey are applied as the main colour theme. Not only avoid being too loud in vision, but also to portray the spirit, “depth”.

Misty Vibe
We designed the café with curves and layers to illustrate the basic form of smoke and shadow. As people step into the entrance, both rigid and feathery waves are presented to capture the motion of liquid. Layers of curves can be found through concrete seats in wavy form along with the soft beam reflection that the glass brick wall brings when the light pours down.

Capture The Moment
Smoke that coffee and shisha bring is always changing in every second, but we captured it with a dark grey feature wall beside the bar with dynamic brushing, alternating the texture that people usually think smoke can only bring. The feature wall also coheres with the layering on the ceiling, walls and the floor, creating a cosy and calm atmosphere for self-immersion.

Emphasising the layer of tastes, strips of triangular prism are placed on the display shelf of the bar kitchen and the entrance wall. With the use of spotlights, a strong contrast in between sides would be shown, echoing with the café’s signature drinks. Groovy Night for Shisha Champagne gold is subtly scattered as sparks of lux, yet without breaking the mood of warmth. When the sun goes down, the combination of champagne gold and layers of grey creates chemistry that carries out the night time groove even more.

As shisha service would only be provided exclusively at night, smoke that produced become the finishing touch of the whole space. When lights are dimmed, visitors are welcomed to explore themselves in-depth slowly in this exquisite place. Enjoy with relaxation By creating gradients of colour, light and shadow in waves, we are presenting every visitor a visual appetiser as a welcoming gesture, allowing them to taste the drinks with their palate, eyes and new forms of texture.
