The site of this project is located at the street-level store on the first floor of One Avenue in Shenzhen, China. Having a wide display facade makes it a unique advantage. Living in a cosmopolitan city like Shenzhen, where newness and challenges coexist, we wanted to really do something that would make the city and the people living here feel fresh and new. And that’s how we came up with the impulse to build a "fantasy forest” - we hope that when people wander here, they can stop for a second and enjoy a moment of relaxation in this fast-paced city.

In order to balance the consistency of the brand and the creativity of the space, we represented the brand mascot in two ways. First, we made a three-dimensional installation of the brand mascot ‘Three-Eyed Boy’, which serves as a strong visual focus in the store. But if we only use the conventional methods and materials, we would only achieve the aesthetic level of the shape; to make the mascot more alive, we have to go into the very details of every ‘hair’. The special furry material we chose not only turns the ‘Three-Eyed Boy’ from a graphic image to a stereoscopic alive character, but also greatly shorten the distance between the brand and its customers, allowing the dialogue happens in between.

Secondly, considering the operation bar is the place where a juice shop has the closest contact with its customers, we adopted soft rubber material to integrate the bar structure and the brand mascot; and that ensures the restoration and durability of the modeling, and also brings the brand much closer to the customers. Different from the conventional juice store, we hope to combine HUNJUICE’s brand concept of ‘Healthy, Unique, and Natural’ in our spatial design, and offers a kind, natural and comfortable environment for the visitors.

To be eco-friendly and sustainable, the soft rubber materials applied outside the bar are decorative materials that we obtained from recycling waste rubber materials, and made through re-melting, shaping and coloring.
