Strategically located on the 15th floor of the Grace Building in Manhattan with unobstructed views of Bryant Park (few locations in NYC offer such a strong connection to nature), Humanscale’s new 33,000 square foot corporate headquarters unites its various teams and design studio for the first time in one space. The company's commitment to health and wellness, ergonomics and nature is evident throughout the design of the space. White tile and marble surfaces cultivate a modern aesthetic balanced by light woods to add warmth and texture, resulting in an interior that is light and airy. The reception area, showroom, glass enclosed conference rooms, and open offices are strategically positioned along the south wall of the building. A corridor lined with window seats and numerous huddle spaces unites the various spaces, offering countless vantage points to the lush green lawn, seasonal flowers and native foliage below. Access to natural light is available throughout the interior. The galley kitchen, which is stocked with fresh fruit and healthy snack options, features a living green wall, long communal table and banquettes and breakout areas. It serves as a hub for both the showroom and the office. Locally sourced and sustainably manufactured materials were specified throughout.
