Our idea of House of Eden is redefine the Tree of God, we decided to intepret the fruit as a peach rather than an apple. Colorful and soft velvety fruits similar to human skin represent liveliness and happiness. Peach is also a major color in the space. We create peach gold with shiny materials. Fruits cannot fall without the tree, we customize laser cut aluminum sheet for tree leaves covering ceiling. Custom made lamp as raw peaches on the tree are hanged under aluminum tree. All furniture, chairs, stools and sofas are in shape of bitten peach. Banquette seats are in peach skins shape. Double walls represent peeled peach skins that we spray velvet beats to make velvety texture and another wall layer of pulp with different height. The bitten peach sofas outdoor are colored with a gradient. All touch points are velvet like a real peach skin. The wavy terrazzo bar is based in white with peach and black beats. Both floor and tables are also made of terrazzo with same color as the bar. Spotted and reversed some area on floor of peach based terrazzo with white and black stone beats refine ripe peaches dropped on ground.
We also design logo and graphics for this restaurant, simple yet complex meaning. TUNA DUNN, the illustrator that her style is related to this restaurant design. House of Eden could not be complete without Adam and Eve, so Tuna is the one who helped to finish this concept.
