Spanish studio Wanna and Formica Group, the leading worldwide provider of surface solutions, challenged the attendees of Casa Decor 2020 (an event that showcases different types of spaces developed by various designers and brands, set within an ancient building in Madrid) not to resign themselves to living without stars. And they invite them to embark on a space journey to sit under the night sky of the Moon. Travelers will stay at Horizon 88, the first lunar glamping entirely created with Formica® laminates. Glamping is formed by the contraction of "glamorous" and “camping", and defines an upward travel style that allows to live unique and sustainable experiences in contact with nature. Travelers can go for a walk around the surface of the Moon, wrapped in 88 constellations. After enjoying the immersive experience in the open air, they can retreat in a single-person private capsule, designed to transmit placidity and soften the vertigo produced by “being up there”. The capsule is reduced to minimal expression to minimise the constructive impact and the export of terrestrial materials to the Moon. However, it has everything to enjoy a memorable stay: a rest area with sideral views, a dressing room and a toilet.
