During the conception, the focus was on the expressive architecture. This was unobtrusively staged by the harmonious choice of materials and colors as well as the combination of antique and modern furnishings. Since not very much daylight enters the rooms through the small windows, the lighting concept was carried out accordingly. The indirect lighting integrated into the lighting concept (behind the sideboards and in the cable duct) emphasizes the vault and, together with the selected wall, ceiling, floor and table lamps, makes flexible use of the rooms possible. The rooms can be used as working rooms, artists' studios and guest rooms.
The atmosphere should be clear, comfortable, creative and inviting at the same time.
This is achieved through the targeted use of antique furnishings and modern components. Workplace, meeting lounge (which is also guest sleeper couch at the same time) and studio were set up so that all functions receive a corresponding ambience. The laminate flooring laid by the previous owner was replaced by real wood parquet made of oiled oak, and untidy open storage space was replaced by a sideboard made by the carpenter, which runs through both rooms and the landing. It takes up the classical design language of the historical door frames, but through its reduction it creates the connection to the present.
