When advanced technology intersects with our lives, what unknown experiences will be revealed in our living spaces, and by the various items acting on our five senses? Based on these observations, we made presentations through prototypes on how technology can blend in with people and lifestyles.
The exhibition consists of five main case studies, the first of which is a sound-themed space called Echo. Walk around six pillars and tap them. The sound you make is converted into a different sound, and you hear it coming from a different direction. Next is Under the Light, with the theme of visualized reactions. Standing in front of the illuminated face of the wall causes changes in the color design of plates also lit up by this light, while your own shadow also appears at delayed intervals. Touch is the theme of the next case study Tactile Object, which lets you enjoy interactions caused by touching objects. For example, pick up a completely empty pitcher then tip it over, and the sensation of water being poured out will be transmitted to your hand. Fourth is Abstract Electronics, a display of prototypes which have a variety of interactions built into them. The last case study is Day & Night, which integrates various interaction elements into a living space.
