Guided by light, people can feel the space expressing solemn, continuation, and eternity of life. Located on the top of mountain, The Lungyen True Dragon Tower has silently carried countless stories of life during last 20 years. Considering its aging and orderless conditions, the space needs to be optimized including its moving flow, interior materials, and the whole atmosphere. The designer ideates the concept “Heritage of Light” based on the historical memory and architectural foundation of The True Dragon Tower.

When the True Dragon Tower has been in use for 20 years, and it is an opportunity for the second generation to take over, continue and rebuild the life etiquette industry. This space is a service-oriented experience space. We hope to move and touch people by the stacking of materials, the guidance of moving lines, the delineation of meaningful materials, and the creation of lighting, creating a space that provides families with memories of the past and prospects for the future.

The Statue of Bodhisattva:
At the center of area stands statue of Bodhisattva, the curved back wall smoothly diverges from side to side in sequence, opening a cautious and secret prelude to the farewell ceremony. Portraying the idea of "Boundless Look", the statue solemnly located at the entrance of the welcome. Across the statue is the sky dome. The parking lot is lacking of natural light. The artificial natural light is used to imitate the patio to sprinkle light, forming a quiet atmosphere. The orderly column structure and the arrangement of large stone pillars further deepen the solemnity and imagination of entering another world.

Lane and Corridor:
Eliminating excessive decorative design, the sequence of lighting and wall facades enhances the visual contour of the building, and also enhances the indoor texture and situational atmosphere. The space is condensed into pure and meaningful, with the layering of large bricks and the gentle creation of indirect light and shadow, guiding people to shuttle through it.

VIP Hall:
The VIP Hall presents a new generation style. The arc walls dynamically develop outwards, creating centripetal guidelines. The terrace with light strips makes crystal plaques glowing and emitting, highlighting the delicate texture of crystal lotuses. is expected to present an exquisite VIP experience. The space develops outwards in the form of a "curved wall", and the moving lines of the guiding arc create centripetally, surrounding the Buddha statue. The plaques (ancestral tablets) are displayed in a stepped style and wrapped in front and back light bands, highlighting the delicate texture of crystal lotus flowers, enriching emotions and embodying human emotions in the process of constructing spatial experiences.
