The store space covers 450 mq on two floors with five windows facing Sunset Blvd Plaza. It was an old building which we cleared until reaching the original structure and keeping all the electrical and air systems as they were. The only building work done was the opening of a huge window facing the rear parking lot which also allowed a view of L.A. and made both floors bright and luminous including the new connecting staircase . The main idea was to create a display route which gave easy access and visibility to the goods. We used common materials such as iron, steel, wire netting, cement slabs and some glass. Work was carried out quickly as all the elements were modular. We were looking to create an effect which was not minimal but however simple and with great character.
