As a powerful homage to its Italian heritage and a deepening of its roots in one of the world’s most iconic fashion capitals, Golden Goose unveils its flagship store in Rome, just steps from the timeless elegance of Piazza di Spagna. Set within a mesmerizing historic palazzo on Via Borgognona, the space is a reverent dialogue between legacy and vision.

This unique flagship is the result of a delicate architectural strip out, a creative art of unveiling, not erasing. Rather than covering history, Golden Goose chose to reveal it, allowing the original structure of the building to breathe and speak. Raw walls stand as living textures of time, layered with memory, while Venetian terrazzo floors ground the space in the brand’s birthplace.

Against this backdrop, mirrored surfaces and industrial elements reflect a modern spirit, a tension between the lived-in and the polished, the past and the future. Salvaged vintage wood furniture adds soul, while refined mirrored counters introduce quiet elegance, as a tribute to intentional imperfection and timeless craft.

At the center of the store beats its most human element: the Co-Creation Lab, an artisanal atelier where customers become collaborators, working side by side with skilled artisans to craft pieces as unique as their own stories, inspiring to extend the life of each item. A striking staircase in raw iron curves upward, guiding visitors to a serene second level where they can pause in an open-air Roman terrace, immersed in natural sunlight. This flagship is a preservation of identity, a living exhibition of what happens when history isn’t erased but celebrated in all its purest beauty.
