For you. For your Loves. For the World. Golden Goose Headquarter in Milan. A project thought of as a sustainable and inclusive space. In the year dedicated to the celebration of its twentieth anniversary, Golden Goose opens its new headquarters in via Ercole Marelli 10, in the area that will host the Olympic Village for the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics 2026. The new Headquarters have been designed with a focus on sustainability and inclusivity with the aim to create a place for the well-being of our people where everyone can feel relevant. The architecture itself underlines the strength of the collective and the possibility of being able to express one's ideas. An authentic place, perfect in its imperfection, where our Golden family can build collective and individual experiences and success stories every day. A real creative hub to let our people experiment, create and dream. A house that carries within the history of the brand through refined architectural elements, but always keeping an eye to the future while maintaining a sustainable approach. For you. For your Loves. For the World. A new way of thinking about people, who, inspired by the place and the environment, can now realize new dreams for their own future and for that of the company, working to make the world a better place. Scalable ideas and a circular approach: from the place, to the people, to the world. The opening in Via Marelli 10 marks a new way of interacting and connecting with the employees, introducing benefits and policies that improve the management of everyone's agenda, as well as the well-being of our people and their loved ones. In addition to structured smart working and the corporate welfare program, we aim to value everyone’s time. Greater flexibility has been introduced and an internal concierge service is available for personal errands, home and family care services and to help and give advices on how to simplify the daily routine. Moreover, thanks to the collaboration with a team of experts, Golden Goose will offer the possibility to benefit from baby-sitting, dog sitting and care services for the elderly, during the weekends and in the evenings. Other measures to support new families will be implemented, such as financial contributions for the birth of children and adoption, the economic integration of optional maternity and the extension of compulsory paternity leave. Finally, employees will be granted time to devote to voluntary activities, providing a concrete contribution to the community. With the new Headquarters, Golden Goose enhances its eco-sustainable approach. The design of the building pursues principles of sustainability not only for the use of solar panels and of a hydroponic garden whose harvest will be used for the daily menu dedicated to the Golden family, but also for an outdoor area dedicated to an eco-mobility park, with e-bikes and electric machines available for the employees. The creativity of the project in detail The architectural project developed internally, in collaboration with ML Archiettura studio, is the result of the renovation of two industrial buildings, a reference to the first historical HQ in Marghera located in an old foundry. The new Golden Goose HQ is a space that merges past, present and future; embodying who we are, remembering where we came from and inspiring where we are going. It is a house that effortlessly represents us, perfect in its imperfection. A house that reminds every person who passes by to believe in a future of possibilities and to never stop dreaming. The façade of the new Milanese Headquarters takes shape as two 3-D parallelograms covered in black micro-perforated metal sheet (Kalzip) intersecting with one another – a geometric puzzle of sorts, graphic and bold just like Golden Goose. The largest building, developed on three levels, has an area of 3670 sqm and is dedicated to the offices, while the smaller one-story building of 1000 sqm is dedicated to the showroom. Entrance A concrete tunnel with the iconic black and white “flag” on the left and a large LED wall will immerse visitors in the world of Golden from their very first steps inside. At the entrance, inspired architectural elements nod to the history of the brand and its Venetian roots. The surroundings are flanked by metal carpentry characterized by V-shaped pillars (also present in our original headquarters in Marghera), while the floor was created by setting 6300 stars made of Carrara marble, recalling the technique used for historic Venetian terraces and for the mosaic design created by architect Carlo Scarpa in the Olivetti store in Venice. This space is illuminated by an expanse of lamps inspired by those of the Met Breuer in NY, a museum near our Madison Flagship store. Offices and spaces The building dedicated to the offices is interspersed with four gilded alcoves in gold, inspired by our LAB stores, while in the center, a patio with a large pool of water covered with black stones evokes Japan, a place that has always been dear to the brand and a continuous source of inspiration. All around the patio, on the ground and first floor, there are work spaces and meeting rooms identified by numbers that recall important moments for the company. Room 750, for example, identifies the number of employees at the time of opening of the new HQ, while room 193 recalls the perimeter in millimeters of the golden star applied on our sneakers. Of all the rooms, each with its own peculiarities and linked to important moments or people for the company, two certainly deserve to be portrayed. The Dream room, where dreams will take shape, was designed in the image and likeness of the LABs, that is where sneakers hang from the ceilings and walls are lined with distressing machines. The chairs are customized with the word ‘Dream Maker’ to reiterate that anyone who will sit there will have the opportunity to contribute to the realization of the dreams that the company has in store for the future. Printed on the walls of this special room, the Golden Manifesto is a reminder to never lose sight of our values and what we believe in. The office of CEO Silvio Campara, wrapped in a three-dimensional painting, was created by the New York artist Stickymonger among whose works include the decoration of an area of the World Trade Center in NY and whose giant murals transform normal spaces into dreamlike universes. A dream like that of Golden Goose that began with its founders twenty years ago and that continues to guide our community. The rooftop, on the second floor, has a terraced outdoor area where swings are positioned, together with the Golden Bench on which visitors can leave a message of love. The space dedicated to the restaurant is completely covered by Rubelli silk – another nod to our Venetian heritage – and a series of vintage frames on the walls narrating the company’s history from its origins until today. Showroom The smaller building is dedicated to the showroom and it can be accessed through a hallway that will change every season, turning into an immersive path narrating the collection. With the aim of maintaining the original structure and highlighting the architectural space, the walls were entirely flocked and the lighting system consists of a string of 11 18-meter-long LED strips. The industrial furnishings are entirely chromed in gold. Functionality The absence of pillars in the original structure made it possible to develop a centripetal project in which everything converges towards the central patio, a place to live all together like a family, in perfect harmony with the brand’s values. All spaces are consequently very flexible, for example the showroom has been designed as a very versatile space so that when it’s not being used for the sales campaign it can serve for different purposes. Each space has been customized to give the most functional solution and the bulding has been organized by channels in order to facilitate exchange between people who need to work very closed to each other. Very functional are also a series of “phone booths” which allow everyone moments of privacy. Ensuring that people can indulge in a little fun, a break room has been created in which it is possible to play table football with a gold-plated soccer table surrounded by photos of the entire Golden community. The restaurant with open kitchen managed by Vicook, the catering service that boasts an important partnership with the three Michelin-star restaurant Da Vittorio allow all employees to spend one hour in joy, eating healthy food without having to worry about finding a place to have lunch outside the Company. Innovation Innovation is the basis of this project. An innovative way to think of people, a different approach to the world and work spaces with the aim to maximize functionality making people feel better. A place in which has been reduced at minimum the use of paper thanks to Cisco magnetic boards in each office and Dyson hand dryers. A new headquarter equipped with Drink Towers and Green Towers designed to encourage sustainable behavior and reduce environmental impact through the responsible use of water and paper resources, and the correct disposal of waste.
