At present, the community public space built on the elevated floor has become an important shared space for community members' activities and neighborhood relations, as well as a new exploration of extending community life services. How to iterate and upgrade community living places and create new places for future communities is not only closely related to community residents, but also the focus of developers and operators, and naturally, it has become a new area for design units to think about and try out, promoting demand and product iteration together.
At present, for the treatment of the overhead floor, the general practice of design is relatively simple and rough, the layout planning lacks rationality, and is more for functional filling and stacking, with a single functional form, insufficient design sense, and low interactivity, without really addressing the humane considerations.
In the preliminary research, we found that the "online activity" of community members on weekdays is mainly dominated by the elderly, children and pregnant women, while young people lack a sense of belonging to the community and there is a serious lack of community vitality. It aims to attract young people to return to the community by creating more logical and sticky products, embedding the theme of "all-age community and ultimate sports", addressing the needs of community life for all age groups, continuously activating the vitality of the community, building a warm overhead community space, and guiding community members to build new neighborhood relationships through sports and health.
The design follows the approximately 9-meter-high elevated floor in the building body and reshapes the space by using the podium to fully open up the double-story space, structuring the linkage between the two floors, continuously blending and extending, and opening up more available public space. In terms of emphasizing functionality and interactivity, through the integration of sports theme, it presents an all-age community space that releases brain and physical strength, creating a place for communication and interaction without age difference. In response to the situation of inactive community and low utilization rate, the design team used the external corridor to shape a 24-hour orange circular running track of about 500 meters, which is both energetic and interesting, as well as practical.
The design of the circular track is professional and spacious, whether it is for professional running or leisurely walking, it can give young people a new place to relieve stress after work, and the unconventional form and color application are very consistent with the young people's pursuit of freedom and unrestrained attitude. The area is applied to sports rehabilitation and physical training, regardless of the scenario, can always be achieved without leaving the neighborhood, safety considerations, to meet the family as a unit of easy exercise needs.
