Giahi a renowned Tattoo & Piercing Studio is located in the heart of Lucerne's old town in Switzerland. The former pharmacy in a historical building has been converted into a contemporary space with a piercing boutique, café, and private treatment rooms for tattoos and piercings. The two-story studio has been completely painted in a dusty pink, including the ceiling and the seamless mineral flooring. This creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In addition to four tattoo and piercing treatment studios on the first floor, jewelry, piercings, accessories, and care products are presented on delicately designed, back-lit shelving systems on the ground floor. These are individually inlaid with display cases in glass and drawers. Minimalism is key for this project. Structures kept in black metal finishes and wood further extenuates the products being displayed. The statement pieces of the studio include the designs of the coffee counter made of Verde Maritaca granite as well as the aluminum structure for the cash register. The staircase is yet another focal point of the space. Two blocks stacked on top of each other create the perfect transition to the intricately designed suspended metal staircase connecting the ground floor boutique to the upstairs treatment studios.
