Sergey Makhno Architects studio has realized the design project of the biggest Japanese restaurant in Ukraine, and one of the biggest in Europe – Fujiwara Yoshi. The planning of the restaurant contributes to the harmony of the space. There are 5 private rooms, the banquet room, the main hall, the conference room, and the terrace. Among the private ones, there are tea rooms with tatami mats, a room with the scrolls, metal lamps-bells, and the flourishing lighting. The working zones are hidden among the ikebanas and bonsai trees brought straight from Japan: sushi bar – a special stand with a chef behind who makes instant sushi, tempura bar – a place for making battered and deep-fried dishes, robata grill – traditional Japanese grill, a special table for tuna dressing, bar, and a hidden main kitchen. All the zones are interconnected by a ribbon of the wine cooler. Gradated fabric under the ceiling whispers Hoku. Different entrances of the lavatory lead to a single room – because gender should not limit. The terrace has a window to the sky that’s why the hall is poured over with the light most time of the day. The sun is an everyday guest here.
