The project of adaptation, redevelopment and restoration of the cultural heritage site of the office for the international law firm. The mansion of princes Gagarin-Kuvshinnikov-Popova was dated in the late 18th century. In Soviet times, the city estate was nationalized and served as a school. The mansion was in a very bad state before the start of work, and the challenge was to restore the historic oak floors, fill the openings with historic oak doors, and restore plaster moldings. The aim of the project has been to join the historical part and the contemporary interior and technologies. The bureau has preserved and recreated the historical architecture of the premises and gave it a modern office function. A bright and non-standard solution was not to restore the enfilade of workers, but the walls were simply cleared to the original cover and preserved from destruction by museum glass. While clearing these walls, a newspaper from 1789 was found, which served as a background for wallpaper. Marianna Petrenko together with the Italian factory Terzani has developed the chandelier ‘Falling Angels’ which symbolize the tasks of clients that fall into the hands of the law firm, and it helps them.
