British-Nigerian multidisciplinary artist Yinka Ilori completed window displays for Conran Shop’s Chelsea and Marylebone store windows for London Craft Week 2022. The colourful, multimedia installation – titled Forest of Eyes – is composed of a series of multi-coloured wooden eye shaped boxes which hold televisions from LG, an exhibition partner.

Furniture, lighting and home accessories from Conran Shop’s Outdoor 2022 edit are displayed among the installation. Mirrored floors and smaller screenless eye-shaped boxes add to the effect of a lush forest environment. Though drawing on the theme of a forest, a vivid, almost artificial, colour palette was selected to spark a sense of escape among shoppers and onlookers. Bright orange, lime green, bubblegum pink and lemonade yellow are just some of the candy-like colours which line the store’s windows.
