A sight dissected into interwoven real and virtual spaces by the use of screens greets the spectator upon stepping into the interior of the house. Demarcation without physical walls allows the lines of sight to expand. Using vertical lines to divide the varnished walls in the common space adds creases to the space and imbues the elegantly reserved space with life. Mirrors on the utensil cabinets create layers in the large open space. In the living room, the accent wall on which the television is mounted exudes the feeling of calmness because of its dark marbled pattern, which contrasts nicely with the light-colored wall behind the sofa featuring numerous vertical lines and with the shoe cabinet in the foyer. The sense of heaviness and lightness thus complements the furniture in earth tones, bringing richness to the setting. The wood texture of the ceiling extends from the foyer to the kitchen, defining the nature of the different spaces while, with the corridor, enhancing the expansiveness of the home. The whole setting harbors complexity in simplicity and creates harmony, giving new meanings to the vocabulary of life. The walls along the corridor are purposefully expressed in inconspicuous colors and light bands to bring attention to the painting. Doing so also makes the space feel warm and complements the view of the television accent wall. These walls serve as the tie between private and common spaces along the corridor. By enabling dialogue between humans and space, the walls facilitate transition and calmness in the mind and allow a story to develop. The corridor leads the eye onto the end view, which is an art piece placed on the cabinet at a corner of the living room. The sensible design and attention to details all facilitated by communication with the users. All private spaces are designed in accordance with the preferences of individual users. Pure colors are combined with functional designs to create a sense of serenity in the space. Overall, the interior space uses light as a medium and gauze as the interface to create layers that overlap and demarcate real and virtual spaces. At sunset, the space feels totally different, allowing one to bask in the beauty of the setting sun. The hustle and bustle of city life is suddenly forgotten as one is immersed in the atmosphere of slow life. Design features: 1. The extension of spaces is adopted as the guideline for interior design, creating a feast for the eyes and the mind. 2. Screens frame and demarcate the space, creating layers with real and virtual spaces. 3. Vertical lines dissect the walls in the common space, imbuing the space with life. 4. The television accent wall in the living room is expressed in a dark marbled pattern, which contrasts with the wall behind the sofa, which is light colored and features numerous vertical lines. It also contrasts with the shoe cabinet in the foyer. The spaces are defined by the contrast of heaviness and lightness. 5. Mirrors are used to create a sense of layers in the large open space. 6. The wood texture on the ceiling helps define different spaces and create visual extension. 7. The corridor serves as the tie linking private and common spaces. The walls along the corridor serve as the focal point and synergize with the end view, which is the television accent wall.
