Operated by Musinsa, EMPTY is a select shop that presents a collection of domestic and foreign designer brands. EMPTY sets its fundament as an offline space to introduce the emerging brands that pursues their own experimental works beyond the established framework.

EMPTY store space is designed to “empty” out at any time, in order to contain other brands, and host various events. Nonetheless the complex look, the fixtures are modularized to easily move around. Also, the modular fixture are able to applied to other 4 floors of the EMPTY store.

We have approached the concept of “empty” in different perspectives in each floors; especially the fourth floor consists of black minimal boxes that, without displayed clothes, appear as a minimalism monochromatic artwork.

After COVID-19, Korea's commercial spaces expects to be multi-functional spaces where changes can be easily made. In that sense, we have tailored the space of EMPTY to contain and host rapidly consuming brands and their images.
