Design of the entire space for 15 sweets stores. The concept was "Conversation Crossing". Focusing on the word "Crossing," we created a 45-degree layout that allows customers to easily enter the stores as an extension of walking around the city. By doing so, we were able to free ourselves from the usual leasing system that tends to differentiate between the front and back of a block, and create a layout plan without hierarchy that allows people to naturally approach shops far from the common corridor. The signage of each store is also designed as a "moving sign" that rotates to increase visibility. The five-meter high ceilings are more than enough space for the customers. The ceiling is covered with sculptures that correspond to the plan, and the high ceiling is deliberately lowered so that visitors can concentrate on the refrigerated showcase and enjoy the time spent selecting items. The sculptures on the ceiling are made of a double mesh structure, and while they have the volume of a drifting cloud, they equally provide light to the products in each store. The dynamic shapes that cover the ceiling take on the function of lighting and become the identity that unites the 15 stores, and visually give them the charm of clouds or meringues, which ultimately results in the impact and excitement that we want to deliver to visitors.
