The DzenSpaceClub is a space for tea ceremonies and meditations with like-minded people. After replanning, we have got a multifunctional space including kitchen zone, dining room, home office, dressing room and tea lounge and it doesn’t look overloaded, due to forms and colour balance, including a dark ceiling, which visually enlarged the room.
The DzenSpaceClub is composed of intricacies of ethno motives and modernism. The Aristide chairs by Eichholtz play the main part of interior modernists, inspired by the design icon Pierre Jeanneret. Shelves with sliding doors create by Olga is kind of a homage to Riflesso designed 1958 by Charlotte Perriand. The dining table made of wood, painted black, was created by Ukrainian craftsmen from Staritska maysternya according to the sketches of the project author.
The furniture of simple geometric shapes resonates with the laconic decor - traditional Ukrainian "hlechyky", author's ceramics by "Vos`ma Komora" and Olga Fradina. A round mirror is placed above the French sofa in front of the window, allows more daylight to enter a room. In the bedroom there is a painting "The Burning Bush" by a modern Ukrainian artist Oleksandr Bogomaz. The work matched by colour, resembles a Tibetan thangka by atmosphere and composition, and thus added the Asian note to the project. It was chosen with a client at the artist's studio. Some decor elements of the DzenSpaceClub belonged to Katya before.
The feeling that we were on the same wavelength haven’t left us during the all stages of the project.
