Durat showroom serves mainly architects and designers. The objective was to highlight the endless possibilities of the material, instead of showing readymade solutions. The idea behind the unconventional colour combinations and textures is to inspire the designers to find their own way to use Durat. The square format samples show all possible base colours and grains.
Three bathroom sets and one kitchen island explains all aspects of the material: moulded sinks and baths, different thicknesses, available joints and cuts. The sketchy arrangements on shelves are seasonal and made from cut outs from the factory We exhibit many new ways to use the material. Laser cutting has been used for the signs and intarsia pattens for the texts. Windowsills, heater covers with CNC’, cabinet doors, doors, walls and shelves are all completely new uses for the material.
The floorplan is simple and functional. The client is invited to wander around the central island and experience the individual display “boxes” as separate entities and curated compositions. The material is always within reach to be touched and felt. The client is encouraged to be playful and use the samples and other accessories to create their own mood boards. Durat is available in more than 200 vibrant colours, including a large variety of RAL Classic colours. custom colours can be tinted to order. Our new showroom is all about the colours. Durat is a unique, sustainable solid surface material which contains recycled post-industrial plastics and is 100% recyclable.
The Durat Circular concept, in where Durat repurchases, refurbishes, and sells used Durat products, is a new step towards a comprehensive circular economy and closed material cycle. Our goal is to ensure the longest possible life cycle for Durat material and re-use 100% of the materials we produce. Durat showroom is a great place to introduce our circular practices and sell our second cycle products.
