The interior designers Cláudia and Catarina Soares Pereira of Casa do Passadiço wanted to translate the Islamic architecture to this project interiors, paying an homage to the beautiful Islamic architecture, and specifically its mosques. Finding a balance between the local culture and the modernity of the brand, reproducing its mood in the details and designing all the interior architecture to its most detail, and using a palette of noble materials, high quality textures and sophisticated materials, such as rare marbles, golden brasses, lacquers and decorative plasters for the ceiling. The signature striped motif is featured in the marble façade and the arches creating a connection within the Aquazzura stores around the world, while a warm shade of pink is present both in the ceiling and in the tiled walls.
The result was a balance between luxury and contemporary elegance and sophistication, solid features of the brand image.
