The design incorporates the features of DJI's drone products and introduces the innovative "DJI Launch Park" concept. It seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor elements to create a welcoming and interactive open retail environment, complete with an outdoor trial flight experience park.

Innovation & Creativity:
The use of aluminum alloy grilles as the main material for the indoor "inner skin" demonstrates innovative material application. This new "inner skin" effectively addresses the issue of inadequate shading in the building, which previously led to uncomfortably high indoor temperatures in direct sunlight. Furthermore, it introduces a precise and avant-garde visual aesthetic to the space.

The execution of the innovative "inner skin" posed several challenges:

1. The original architectural design featured numerous irregular spaces, posing a challenge in integrating the architectural elements into the interior and creating an "inner skin" that fits these irregular spaces. Through extensive deliberation and algorithmic analysis, Various Associates managed to fit the grille skin while considering the geometric relationship and aesthetic appeal between the structure of the interior skin and the existing grille curtain wall, resulting in a harmonious exterior and interior skin structure.

2. The design team carefully considered the angle of the grille arrangement to ensure effective shading without obstructing the view of outside natural scenery brought in by the building's curtain wall. This also creates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow.

3. The extensive grille "inner skin" posed potential conflicts with some equipment such as lighting, sound systems, and air conditioning in the space. Various Associates solved this challenge through precise custom design, integrating vents, sound systems, lighting, and other equipment with the grilles, complemented by black metal mesh panels. This integration allows the equipment to seamlessly blend in, presenting a clean, neat aesthetic with a sense of technology.

Functionality:
The ground floor is designed as a product display area, featuring suspended display platforms and dynamic screens. The second floor is connected to the outdoor DJI Launch Park, offering outdoor trial flights and drone performances. On the third floor, there is a photography gallery. Additionally, the store includes a convenient after-sales waiting area and a service center, offering product recycling services and other special services.

Sustainability:
The original architectural design lacked a systematic shading system, resulting in excessive indoor energy consumption due to high-intensity sun exposure. Therefore, a carefully planned "inner skin" was designed as an indoor shading system. It mitigates the impact of sun exposure on the space's microclimate while bringing in natural light. As a result, it has reduced the reliance on artificial lighting and air conditioning, thus effectively lowering operational energy consumption.
