Deskopolitan is a new lifestyle-focused serviced-office company based in Paris. They appointed MoreySmith to establish their global design strategy, concept and branding. Château d’Eau, their first destination to complete, has seen the transformation of an historic former factory building into a flexible and inspiring co-working space that promotes work/life and wellbeing.

Spanning 1,250 sq m over three floors (ground with mezzanine, first and second) this unique and innovative workspace immerses clients and occupants into the heart of the brand experience on arrival. The double height space promotes an energetic work setting with guest touchdown opportunities alongside a buzzing café. Purposely designed to promote “collision” opportunities, Château d’Eau allows members to interact across the business community, building networks and connections.

The building provides 120 guest positions, 45 open desks, six adaptable club studios and five state of the art meetings rooms. There is access to an external courtyard, lockers, cycle storage, shower facilities and a unique barbershop and nail bar, blurring the boundaries between work and life. Each level offers a range of diverse work settings including open desk areas, informal touchdown positions, incubator studios, private phone booths, VC and AV meeting rooms.

Launched in late 2016, this concept was the first of its kind in France. MoreySmith is continuing to work with Deskopolitan on future ventures.
