The booth represents the synthesis of the new direction of the company. Desalto feels the need to express its 'know-how' by expanding the range of products, entering other 'rooms' of the house: the first, close to the dining area (where the catalog answers exhaustively) the living room.

Desalto, thus, begins a new path in the 'SOFT' area by presenting itself at the 2024 furniture fair with 3 collections of upholstered furniture enclosed within a stand built entirely of polyurethane in the vertical parts.

The idea was to unequivocally convey the new direction undertaken, using this material in an innovative way, which is highly performing from an acoustic point of view, as a scenic backdrop conceived as an architecture: vertical volumes at different heights, which stand on a platform of approximately 300 m2. and surrounded by bright walls, creating an unusual skyline entirely in polyurethane.

the basic module 40cm.X40cm. it allowed great compositional flexibility, such as the niches/showcases created/carved out on the external perimeter or the possibility of hiding rooms, to be discovered through a labyrinthine path.

the stand, once dismantled, is entirely reused for the creation of new upholstered furniture, so as not to produce any waste.
the parts, however, which are no longer reusable, find their place in the virtuous cycle of reuse; polyurethane, for example, is cut and used for the production of draining and sound-absorbing asphalt.
