Under the claim “Metal is our nature”, the project reaffirms Desalto’s savoir-faire in metal
craftsmanship while projecting a contemporary vision of the living environment—where
design, innovation, and social responsibility coexist in harmony. The stand for Salone del
Mobile 2025, designed by Francesco Rota Studio, is a clear statement of intent: a visual
and spatial synthesis of the brand’s identity.
Desalto builds upon its industrial roots with a human-centred and conscious approach.
Metal—recyclable, durable, and expressive—is complemented by noble materials such as
wood and marble, along with sustainable upholstery textiles. The installation highlights the
craftsmanship behind each product, emphasising the brand’s dual essence: precision and
emotion, technical mastery and aesthetic refinement.
The spatial design is structured around a grid of metal panels arranged in 1x3 modular
rythms, guiding visitors along a fluid, open-ended path. These blue-painted partitions not
only define zones but create a dynamic experience, reflecting the evolution of Desalto’s
collections—now conceived as complex, modular systems that respond to both residential
and contract needs. The sculptural contrast between geometric metal structures and the
softness of upholstery materials creates a unique visual dialogue.
Color is more than a decorative element; it becomes a narrative thread, articulating each
collection and reinforcing brand identity. A refreshed color palette—striking accents,
saturated hues, and Desalto’s iconic blue—brings identity and character to the space. The
result is bold, refined, and immediately recognisable.
Far from being a mere showcase, the installation offers a modular and multifunctional
environment that allows visitors to fully immerse themselves in Desalto's design vision. It
reflects a holistic approach, based on the human experience, with personalisation and
spatial clarity as core values.
This project is not only a stand but a manifesto for the present and future of responsible,
expressive, and flexible design.
