d-fine - an agile working environment with a Berlin vibe
The combination of static and mobile space solutions creates a dynamic and flexible working environment directly on Ku'damm

The "Kranzler Eck" is located in the centre of West Berlin, directly on Ku'damm. The building complex includes the iconic Café Kranzler with its famous rotunda on the top floor and a new building with a glass façade. The new multi-space office of the European consultancy d-fine is located on the light-flooded 8th floor of the new building.

The space is divided into internal and public areas and offers the right, inspiring working environment for every activity: for concentrated work, team and project work, workshops, hybrid video conferences and client presentations. Mobile whiteboards and rollable screens optimise the agile workflow.

The open space office area with flexible workstations is zoned using modular shelving systems from the Berlin-based manufacturer "System 180": "The biggest challenge in this project was to arrange the workstations sensibly in a room with a basic triangular shape. It helped a lot to use the shelving systems to extend the corridor zone, which structures the room from the inside to the outside. Another concern for me was the visual axis in a standing position for the open feeling of the space and the all-round view of the west of Berlin," says Julian Meyer.

This combination of static and mobile space solutions creates a dynamic and flexible working environment. The project demonstrates how well thought-out design and functionality can contribute to an inspiring working atmosphere.

The working environment can adapt to changing work requirements time and time again and therefore offers future-proof utilisation. Local manufacturers such as System 180 or MDD from nearby Poland were deliberately selected. In addition, many products have an above-average level of ecological sensitivity.

During the course of the day, the sun moves around "Kranzler Eck" and creates a fascinating play of light through the colour-changing foil of the glass cubes. The new d-fine office offers its employees an attractive working environment, supports their agile way of working and customers can also feel the unique vibe: d-fine with a pinch of Berlin.
