CrudoCotto by Rovagnati 1943 is a prosciutteria bistrot cocktail bar, an innovative project that set itself the goal of transforming the classic salumeria into a location displaying an original and intriguing environment. The idea of the Salumeria is completely twisted, by rethinking the space into an all-round, communicative and spectacular location: not a simple “bottega” but a place which combines style, class and the product and able to convey its quality and elegance.
The style is the quintessence of the industrial-chic, the colours and materials are unusual: the counter is made of corten, the walls are brought back to their original stone and finished in black, the flaming red of the iconic Berkel slicers is dominating. The wooden walls are hand lacquered by master decorators. The skillful use of mirrors enables unprecedented plays between the warm interior and the lively streets of Milan, with the product in plain view.
Every detail recalls the culture of the iconic Rovagnati label and the pleasure of food tasting, in a perfect balance between idea and shape. With the acquisition of Berkel, Rovagnati has something new to offer and the newborn identity is very present in the store, from the walls to the stools, up to the iconic Berkel slicer.
