With “Cowork” Siemens Real Estate has opened by October 2017 a highly attractive and one-of-its-kind work environment on its campus in Perlach/ Munich.
Extending the already existing divers work-spaces, Cowork will provide all employees with the benefit of spending work-time in a creative surrounding, thus enhancing new ideas, interacting differently with colleagues, partners and clients so as to find and experience inspiration be it for hours, days or even weeks.
Thereto the architects of D`NA and conceptsued° developed a pivot point for communication, collaboration and creativity: the hub allocates on its 800 sqm divers possibilities – such as workshop spaces, Event areas, meetingrooms as well as some individual desks.
From corporate history to digital future: Located within the premises of a former library on Siemens Campus Perlach the age of coworking, collaboration and synchronous interaction of digital and physical was to be heralded.
The vision was to establish a unique spatial setting, which would facilitate, support and claim the fusion and lateral transfer between all units and work-profiles throughout Siemens – to encourage the envolvment of new ideas and to learn and live the concept of 'shared knowledge'.
