A „Hotel“ without rooms.

Why - Mission:
Cars are only used 4% of the time, making car ownership an inefficient use of resources. To disrupt the traditional automotive industry and promote sustainable mobility, Lynk & Co. offers affordable and accessible vehicles designed for the modern world. As part of this mission, we created an innovative showroom concept, redefining what a showroom can be.

How - Idea:
Lynk & Co aims to build a strong emotional bond with its customers, beyond just the use of their products. Rather than simply increasing the number of vehicles on the road, the company aims to maximize the utility and efficiency of car usage.

We've transformed the traditional showroom into a vibrant, hybrid venue that not only showcases the brand’s accessibility but also serves as a cultural and social hub. Inspired by hotels as vibrant centers of cultural activity and interaction within urban landscapes, our showroom emphasizes a lifestyle of shared experiences and community engagement beyond simple commercial transactions.

This innovative space integrates diverse urban elements into a seamless flow from a café to co-creation spaces, enhancing retail experiences while promoting a lifestyle of shared experiences and fostering community interaction. The design subtly introduces Lynk & Co’s vehicles, advocating for a sustainable, flexible, and interconnected mobility solution, encouraging active participation in a progressive mobility movement.

What - Solution:
The "co:tel" showroom at Lynk & Co exemplifies the brand’s dedication to sustainability, creativity, and community. Rather than constructing a new building, Lynk & Co repurposed an existing structure, avoiding the environmental impact associated with new constructions and reinforcing their commitment to sustainable practices. This adaptive reuse of space spans 1,100 square meters over four floors, combining retail and event areas with diverse lounge zones. Each area is designed to facilitate a range of activities—from DJ nights and parties to coworking sessions and cultural events—within a welcoming atmosphere that features cozy corners and a selection of sustainable products. The cohesive design theme extends from the roof terrace to the stairwells.

Strategically located in an urban setting with excellent public transport accessibility, the co:tel showroom leverages its position to encourage reduced car usage among visitors. The effective use of an existing building, coupled with the showroom’s multifunctional design, significantly enhances the site's utilization efficiency and reduces its carbon footprint.
