CLUB ON THE ROCK is a resident-dedicated clubhouse, located in KENNEDY 38 which is a brand-new metropolitan core residential project in Kennedy Town on Hong Kong Island, facing the Belcher Bay promenade in front, and backed by Dragon Tiger Mountain and Western High Mountain, providing a relaxed living environment for residents, enhance a co-living space for family and friends that inspires and encourage quality time and relaxation. Kennedy Town’s recent emergence as an up-and-coming neighborhood in Hong Kong has introduced a plethora of new restaurants, cafes, bars, while still clinging onto its earlier persona as a neighborhood known for its rich culture and history.

The starting point of this project is to create a meaningful space that fulfills the needs of the residents and optimizes their space. The clubhouse is split into different zones with diverse facilities integrating work, life and leisure facilities, makes places usable to everyone, which is the simple principle of inclusive design.

The private club, with a total area of 5,142 square feet, split into five zones with diverse facilities integrating work, life and leisure facilities. The indoor co-shared space “WORK FROM CLUB” is an all-new workplace outside the office, allowing residents to meet work needs with flexible office mode. The interior space is surrounded by greenery in a range of different scales and orientations with integrated seating encourage groups to interact or allow individuals a moment of peace and quiet, "GYM 24", which is open 24 hours a day, is equipped with advanced and complete fitness equipment. Residents can also meet up with relatives and friends to hold private parties and events in the banquet room "DINE & WINE", enjoy barbecue in the "GRILL CLUB", or have friends and family in Sunbath at the outdoor lounge "SUNBATH ON THE CLUB", indulging in prestigious and private living experiences.

The space filled with organic forms and cladded in a unique timber fretwork pattern, timber veneer and natural granite are the main materials that used for the interior. Bringing in environment with plants and greenery can rejuvenate your energy. The focus on clean lines, neutral colors, and minimalist design creates a sense of calmness and tranquility. The main column is decorated by the Hong Kong famous illustrator – Kristopher, the monochromatic art work create a more visually interesting and dynamic environment and enhance the visual effect of the interior space.
