CHIC1699 is the second restaurant brand space after Z&D Cuisine in 2015, which cooperates with S.Gourmet. From Xiamen, Fuzhou and Quanzhou in Fujian to Shanghai and then to Hangzhou, there are three editions in each of the three provinces. In recent years, the brand has developed very well. While watching each other and growing together, we gradually have a new perspective on the connotation and space concept of the project. Starting from the fashionable, modern and elegant CHIC style at first, we began to think about the essence of the brand.
Space aesthetics, in my opinion, is more than just the artistic conception of virtual and beautiful scenery, it is a rational and romantic philosophical interpretation. We expect the aesthetic of CHIC1699 to be a state of simultaneous growth of the present and the future. The trend is fleeting and the style will last forever. Even in a public space like a restaurant that basically needs to be iterated in about five years, it has some calm beauty. For this reason, we have made everything extremely simplified and symbolic.
The ornamental aquarium under the glass corridor, which was quite spectacular in the early generation, reflects the boundless blue waves in the heart; The transparent glazed elegant house is not only for the guests in every corner to feel the progressive changes of space levels to the greatest extent, but also for the mentality of the times when people are more and more open and willing to share.
In Hangzhou Vientiane City, a large-scale and irregular space, at the beginning of taking over, we had the ambition to surpass the original ideas and routes. In the brand matrix of S.Gourmet, there are the traditional Z&D water cuisine and Xizuo Fuzhou Guild Hall, which represents the official restaurant. CHIC1699 has been on the list of Black Pearl for five years in a row, and has become one of the representatives of Fujian cuisine. We hope that it has its own pioneering and artistic features, as well as its unique brand restaurant.
Here, we have refined the grid as a detail in the original design, which means that the concept of "NET " is the design origin of this space running through Hangzhou Vientiane City. Fujian has mountains, water and fields. If you are close to the mountains, you will live on them. If you are close to the sea, you will live on the sea. The net is both functional and aesthetic, flexible and tough, and it is both freedom and imprisonment. We have fish and forget the bamboo utensils for fishing, but the siege of life is not like the bamboo utensils for fishing. The combination of metal mesh thin screen and lighting technology reminds people of the purse seine at the seaside, and the lights bring people into the sea like the tides. As a space experience room for exquisite cuisine, we hope to build another possibility beyond imagination for diners.
