This is a relocation plan for a real estate office in Fukuoka, Japan.Japanese real estate companies have a fixed, negative image of being difficult to enter, having glared fluorescent lights, and having a strong office feel. We wanted to dispel this image.

In addition, the owner wanted to make it a place where local residents could casually visit, so the space was designed based on the concept of a "park", an open space that is familiar to everyone.

This is the kind of care and hospitality to the people of the town that only a real estate agent who knows the town well can provide.

As a symbol of the kindness of being close to people, a bench was installed in the space open to the front street, where local residents can sit and talk and communicate with people passing through town.

The wooden frame of the facade, in the shape of a house, which is reminiscent of a store related to housing, serves as an icon of the store as a real estate company, and as an eye-catcher for people on the street. The frame then continues inside the building to create a small home for children, a kids' space.

The entrance is made entirely of glass to improve visibility from the outside. The reception area and office space are loosely partitioned with furniture and plants to create a continuous space. The office space has an open layout with no sense of closure so that you can feel the presence of the staff.

The outside green and bench continue to the inside space, and the exterior finish continues to the inside as it is, giving a rough and casual finish. The park-themed store exterior, which makes extensive use of trees, changes with the seasons as the trees grow. It always gives comfort and peace to the people walking in front of the store and continues to give freshness to the scenery of the city without being weathered.
