C&D GROUP YUNQIQIANWAN (EXHIBITION CENTER) is located in Hangzhou, gathering an abundance of outstanding cultural resources. In collaboration with DAS Dasen Design, taking the blueprint of a timeless mansion as a basis, it is deeply rooted in the local cultural context and humanistic heritage. Using the shape of the Qiantang River tide as the design inspiration, it interprets traditions with contemporary language, condensing the architectural forms of the East and contemporary aesthetics, and constructing an urban utopia here where one can enjoy seclusion and contentment.

The emotions of guests surge with the waves, and current affairs arise together with the tides. The lobby on the first floor takes the surging tide shape as an element for application, solidifying the majestic momentum of the thousand-year-old surging tides within a small space, and recreating the magnificent spectacle of "Half the river is greenish blue and half is red; the setting sun adds splendor to the river and the sky".

The artistic sculpture organically integrates the shape of the Qiantang River tide with reddish platinum stones. The surface texture simulates the weathered rock layers along the riverbank, and there are built-in lights at the bottom. With respect and awe for nature, it recreates the poetic and picturesque artistic conception of "The setting sun adds splendor to the river and the sky, and the magnificent spectacle lingers with a long-lasting charm".
