The flagship store is located in a formerly gloomy bank interior and was completely transformed to emphasize the exclusive quality and craftsmanship of the CHS collection through an elegant architectural environment. A uniform architecture with curved transitions and flows visualizes its depth. With few geometrical elements together with giant circular skylights creates an architectural haven. This carved out space contemplates in a harmonious way with the furniture exposition. Geometry and furniture’s combines in a natural way, surrounded by skylight. Transparent partitions and new openings reveals an inner world to be explored. The geometric balance of the space serves like this as a “pantheon’ for the Carl Hansen furniture’s. A minimal base of elements, selected materials and colors complement the space for a more textured interior in displayed furnishings, as a part of a complete design scheme.
