Cañamiel is a concept store that sells a selection of unique products from a curation of Mexican and Latin designers. Handpicked products are pulled together for this multi-brand store and span different lines such as clothes, shoes, jewelry, accessories and homewares. The main scope was to create a new shopping experience by inspiring the costumers with grouped displays from different lines. The arrangement creates flexibility, allowing constant change to keep telling different stories. The new identity would seek simplicity with an urban touch, without forgetting glamour. Unity is a fundamental part of the concept, as an analogy to a color wheel that houses an infinite range of possibilities, and becomes unique with movement. A central piece of furniture allows the interaction of multiple product categories living together, without the need to have islands. The main fixture is habitable and allows visibility and transparency through the store with a series of vectors creating space. It also has internal roads generating different shopping paths. The use of light is a fundamental key material. The wall perimeters are also used as complementary fixtures that rise from the stores base with the same concrete and block used on the floor.
