We intended to provide the space with several tastes and functions by designing it into a clustering form. The floor plan is ‘L’-shaped with spiral stairs to the upper floor. With the center of the stairs, we prepared 4 clusters, which play a hall, a convention, a corridor, and a studio respectively. The hall presents people full of openness, however the convention affords more private and can be changed according to the purpose. Through the corridor which amplifies the tension is found the studio which can play various roles. All of them are openly connected, but having different feelings. Each has its own access to outside, which results in a variety of flow lines of people. 

Since the concept of the space to memorize something momentary, we chose ‘frame’. Each frame can be a single exhibition but also make a magnificent picture as a mass of collection. Each cluster has different tastes of frames, sometimes as a big assembly, sometimes as a matrix, sometimes as a table, and sometimes as a shelf. 

The restaurant is located in the middle of industrial area filled with gloomy concrete buildings. It is a pleasing surprise when you find a cozy and relaxing woody space in the middle of gray desolate area. The location is perfect for me to realize my design philosophy to hold people ‘Warmly welcoming’, ‘Gently relaxing’ and ‘Long pleasing’.
