Zhongzhou Shangsha is unique enough for the young Shenzhen, which was originally an ancient coastal fishing village. How can we design a city-in-village that accompanies the city's new life and its emerging form along the Zhongzhou Bay? What is the value that we have always relied on and will eventually recall on such land plots? We have kept on asking ourselves such questions again and again... Finally, we used the “marks from the fishing village” as a starting point for the design.

It is not only the surpassing core of the central city where the value of this land's sedimentation is witnessed but it is also the “landmark” in Shenzhen, where young people get together to happily recall the process in which they have fought for their life goals. This is not only a warm and sensuous feeling of achievement, but also the origin of design igniting emotional resonance for the place and the source of imagination for the future spiritual travel.

Therefore, our design was inspired by Li Bai's most famous romantic poem "Dream Journey to Tianmu Mountain: Chanted upon Departure", and such phrases as "I wish to dream of Wu and Yue and fly over the moon in Mirror Lake in one night" and "the stone doors of paradise open with a crash" become the main imagined scenes for our interior design.
