Performance classes are very important for primary school education. Children learn how to express themselves from standing on the stage. The school theater, as a place for students to practice and present their performances, should be an attractive and memorable place for children to learn and grow between the rise and fall of the curtain. Taking musical melody as the concept, we envision a vibrant performance venue with the melodious rhythm of music. The overall space strikes a delicate balance between the solemnity of formal performance and the liveliness that can inspire a flash of light on performance creativity. In terms of design techniques, first, we adopted the curved GRG ceiling to sculpt the fluidity of the space. Thereafter, we used the curved lines of the wall to enhance the rhythm of the space; the patterns of the holes on the sound-absorbing wall panel were penetrated to express musical rhythm, which have been enhanced when lit by LED. The color of seats, varied like sound waves, presented vigorous vitality of the campus and created immemorable strong image for both performers and audiences.
