Bridgestone Cross Point is an innovational hub for promoting design and the Bridgestone brand, located in the heart of Tokyo's art and business district, Kyobashi. As the world's leading manufacturer of tire and other rubber products, the Bridgestone Group is committed to serving society with superior quality. The word "Cross-point" symbolizes "the intersection of lines, people, ideas, design and brand, company and society, etc.". This new emblematic hub aims to carry on our commitment and is especially designed to bring together employees, partners and the society to encourage interaction. By doing so, we will co-create new social and customer value especially in areas of design and branding and play an important role as the group strives to become an innovational sustainable solutions company. The flexible multipurpose open space can fuse and segment people's activities, encourage exchange and creativity, with aims to accelerate open innovation. Unusual for a high-rise building, it features a terrace garden to emphasize openness and promote wellness, which also helps sensitize workers to realization of a sustainable society. CARE, CONFIDENCE and CREATIVITY are defined as the brand's approach in serving society and are the pillars for the hub's design and activities. There are materials and shapes that convey the warmth of handcraft, as well as brand colors and bricks linked to the company's history. The conference room and lounge are designed as a dignified, quiet space with low lighting, while the co-creation space is bright, spacious, open, and comfortable. The space also encourages people's movement through curves and slanted axes.
