AIM has worked on the interiors of this campus that the initiators see as an ecosystem for work and education.

Our ambition has been to rethink both conventions in order to find authenticity.
We used the grey concrete shell as the base and added wooden doors, frames and cabinets as transitions between the spaces. Ceilings are mostly left un-covered, using the height of the spaces and allowing the structure to create a rhythm.

Within this unifying framework, a number of key spaces stand out.

The ‘skyroom’ is a vertically oriented space in the center of the campus. It has two converging white walls around a forum-stairs serve as a canvas for sunlight beam caused by an elliptical skylight. The wooden paneling of the outer walls frames the space.

The chamber hall is dictated by acoustics; resulting in wood batten walls and concrete domes to diffuse the sound.

In the library, we use wooden book stacks to create a series of spaces for study surrounded by books. A library that wants to forget time and embrace study.

More is there to be elaborated upon, but we hope to show that this seemingly simple structure system has resulted in an intricate and authentic campus.
