The 25hours Hotel has found its new home in Munich, in the magnificent building at Bahnhofplatz 1, originally home to the royal telegraph station. The historic building presented the perfect starting point for a new hotel for the 25hours Hotel Company, which strives to spur guests’ imagination with highly unique, beautiful and functional designs. Offering a variety of cozy seats, the Boilerman Bar invites both locals and visitors to conclude their evening with a signature highball.

Inspired by a journey through Bavaria, the designers developed a concept that would transport guests into a space embodying royal grandeur and the fantasy world of Bavaria’s Fairy Tale King, Ludwig II. As was done with the hotel, the designers sought to combine aspects of royal Bavarian heritage with a Grand Hotel ambience, welcoming guests with a vibrant, opulent and quirky atmosphere.

The classic bar components of the Boilerman Bar are brought to life with fresh features: the counter becomes a central element with dark wood and red lacquered panels. The bar counter is softly lit by elegant golden palm leaf lights. Illuminated shelves cladded with mirrors highlight the spirits and liquors. Above the velvet seating, grand circular lights – sourced from antique street lanterns in Paris – allude to the signature ice ball. Whether enjoying a pleasant conversation at the bar or browsing through the vintage records in the library, guests are guaranteed a memorable evening at the Boilerman Bar.
