Black Bamboo is a restaurant and bar in the Tianhe district of Guangzhou, which operates as a "daytime meal and nighttime drink". It is also another new project of SONG series in cooperation with designers. Unlike the first bar of SONG, which was full of desire and ambition, the owner wanted to present a more elegant, poetic and subdued. style this time.

After analyzing the location and market research, combined with the special conditions of the site, and taking into account the owner's requirements for the tone of the restaurant, the designer came up with the idea of a restaurant full of classical Chinese flavor. The designer proposed the intention of "Black Bamboo" which is full of Chinese classical flavor. The designer translates the flowing water, stones and bamboo in the paintings and poems of the literati in Chinese culture into a contemporary expression, and by stepping into the space, people will feel like traveling from Guangzhou to the Yuntai Mountain of a thousand years ago, which is the connection of a different time.

It is divided into three areas: outdoor dining area, indoor dining area and private bar. Each area has different design highlights and different functions, and guests can freely choose their favorite spots to enjoy their meals.

The designers set up a handmade bar with mortise and tenon fasteners made by a stone artist, designed a stainless steel ceiling that flows like water, painted calligraphy and flowers on tin were folded into stone, an 18-meter-long ink and bamboo scroll unfolded elegantly in the middle of the restaurant, and created different scenarios and furniture with body dynamics, which were used in different storylines of food or alcohol production. The designers have collaged the various elements to create a holistic image, while retaining the texture of the individual. Lighting is interspersed between the installations, responding to each other and creating a particular spatial flow. The lines undulate and intertwine. In the midst of this, the distance between the intoxicated person and history is as close as a brick wall.
