The Bitter Sweet dessert shop, designed by All Design Studio (ADS). With a deep reverence for local history, the designers delicately retain the allure of Italian architecture, infusing the shop with artistic touches inspired by desserts and paintings. This creates an experience for patrons that transcends mere indulgence, touching the soul with every bite.

The client's request is to respect the historical significance of the building, leading us to infuse our design with an Italian aesthetic. This dessert shop is located in the northern region, targeting primarily female customers. We aimed to create an ambiance that is inviting and charming.

The design strategy originates from the original function of the building, which was a logistics room for the barracks. Consequently, we reimagined the design concept to resemble an Italian-style cozy living room.

We incorporated vibrant colors reminiscent of desserts and utilized materials such as recycled wood panels and terrazzo. All colors were meticulously applied using natural water-based paints to minimize environmental impact. The European-style lines adorning the wainscot were hand-painted with acrylics to capture the artisanal essence of this handmade dessert shop, while also honoring Italian frescoes.
