The essence of bio-programming technology lies in its ability to ‘transcend time’. Located in a luxury high street in Cheogdamdong, the Bioprogramming Club offers tightly curated beauty products made for those who seek the vivacity of life. The store is a gallery and a place of experience where visitors are encouraged to interact with the products in the visually arresting main hall. The meticulous juxtaposition of translucent acrylic partitions and glass cabinets not only shrouds a veil of mysticism around the space but seamlessly connects and divides the communal and private spaces. The conscious use of LED lights, with the changes in the tone of the carpet – from an azure blue to an elegant white – communicating and resonating with the ripples on the ceiling, subdues and disperses light, which, in turn, fills the space with a certain aura of life. As visitors are greeted at the main hall, the sudden transition from the glamorous acrylic façade to a more calming interior creates a momentary sensory delusion of stopping time and helps to draw their attention to the products on display.
