The new Billy Mobile offices designed by Turull-Sorensen Arquitectos are located in an area close to Plaça Francesc Macià. They cover an area of 700m2 on the top two floors of a dedicated office building. "A space where work and leisure coexist without borders": This idea is in keeping with the company’s spirit, as the Billy Mobile advertising platform boasts a corporate culture that aims to recruit and keep talent and understands having an attractive, comfortable and functional place to work in as being essential to that. The entrance to the offices becomes a bar; meetings and conferences are held inside a ball pool; and the terrace, with a barbecue and a string of hammocks inside and outside the pergola, is the perfect space for any recreational or work-related activity.It was essential to include the terrace in the indoor space and to do so the flooring and the wood cladding were given continuity so one does not differentiate indoors from out. The sofas, armchairs, tables and other items of furniture, in addition to the light fittings, were designed to further the experience of working and having fun at the same time and in the same space. The same thing goes with the lighting; warm lighting using mesh LED lights was designed to hang from the new cane false ceilings to subtract importance from the pre-existing fluorescent downlights. Ceiling lamps were installed in the informal meeting areas and at the work desks.
